    Description

    This is an original Hobourn Eaton oil pump, strainer, and drive gear off MGA 1500 motor 15GB45779.  This is the original style meant for a 1500 up to 15GB46341
    .  It came out of a motor that decades ago was being rebuilt then given up on and left in a wet barn... without reinstalling its head.  Kind of a shame, but everything in the bottom end below the pistons & rusted out cylinder liners were exceptionally clean.  Looks like very little oil has been run through it between the last guy to take it out and me.
    These original oil pumps are getting really hard to find and no longer available at just about all the big name MG parts suppliers.  This will be a great one to work with.
